We are GP Dr Karen Forshaw and Chartered Physiotherapist and Psychotherapist Chrissie Mowbray. We are both currently practicing and have a combined clinical experience of more than 50 years. We formed 'Resilient Practice' to teach effective, evidence-based tools and techniques for maintaining wellbeing and resilience to all. We currently work with the Royal College of General Practitioners, Health Education England, NHS Education Scotland, The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh the MDDUS and various companies. Our work encourages a deep understanding of the aspects of Self that govern all our thoughts, feelings and behaviours which in turn influence our experience. Key aspects of our training include: conflict resolution, strategic communication, burnout prevention, managing complaints, setting healthy boundaries, introducing the benefits of meditation and mindfulness, survival archetypes, shadow work and practical skills for the working day.
